Senior Finance Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking a sharp, proactive Senior Finance Manager who will take ownership of end-to-end finance and accounting functions. This role is central to ensuring the financial health of the organizationmanaging day-to-day operations, enabling strategic decisions through data, and building financial discipline across the company.Key Responsibilities:Core Finance & AccountingLead and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) cycles efficientlyOversee bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and receivables follow-upsEnsure monthly book closures, and reconciliations are done in a timely and accurate mannerCash Flow & Working CapitalMonitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for business operationsCreate short-term and long-term cash flow forecastsOptimize working capital cycles across inventory, receivables, and payablesMIS, P&L & Strategic InsightsPrepare and present monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and key financial metricsOwn and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheet, and financial ratiosIdentify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategic improvements to the leadershipBudgeting & ProjectionsSupport annual and quarterly budgeting exercises and financial modelingPrepare revenue forecasts, scenario planning, and strategic financial projectionsCompliance & StatutoryOversee statutory filings, TDS, GST, ROC, and income tax compliancesLiaise with auditors for annual audits, tax assessments, and internal controlsEnsure the company remains compliant with all regulatory requirementsStakeholder Management & NegotiationLead commercial negotiations with vendors, agencies, distributors, and partnersCoordinate with external consultants, CA firms, and banking partnersOther ResponsibilitiesImplement and upgrade financial controls, SOPs, and policiesAssist in fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting as neededSupport cross-functional teams (sales, ops, marketing) with financial insightsWho You AreCA / MBA Finance with 4+ years of experience, preferably in a D2C, consumer brand, or startup environmentStrong understanding of accounting principles, Indian taxation, and statutory normsAdvanced Excel, Tally, and familiarity with ERP systemsHighly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong business acumenExcellent communication skills; able to work closely with founders and cross-functional teamsComfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth-focused startup environment
