Senior Finance Executive

As a Senior Finance Executive at the Calicut Head Office, you will play a critical role in managing financial and operational activities within the HFW project. Your responsibilities will include ensuring financial compliance, maintaining accurate records, and optimizing resource utilization to support the organization's mission of uplifting vulnerable populations in India. Regularly analyzing financial and operational data entered by field coordinators will be a key aspect of your role. You will be responsible for identifying discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy to support informed decision-making. Budget management is another crucial responsibility where you will ensure that all financial activities adhere to budgetary guidelines. Monitoring variances and taking corrective actions to prevent budget overruns will be essential to maintain financial stability. Preparing and submitting periodic financial and operational reports will be part of your routine tasks. You will need to ensure that reports meet predefined project deadlines and compliance standards to provide transparency and accountability. Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions and conducting periodic reconciliations of statutory accounts will be imperative. You will also need to ensure compliance with organizational and statutory policies to uphold financial integrity. Comparing project data with financial figures and optimizing fund utilization will be essential to enhance project financial management. Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Office applications, along with a strong understanding of Accounting Principles and Accounting Software, will be required to excel in this role. Fluency in English and Hindi, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders are some of the key attributes needed for success in this position.
