Senior Finance & Accounts Professional


Key Responsibilities


Accounting & Day-to-Day Finance Operations
  • Maintain complete books of accounts independently
  • Oversee vouchers, journals, ledgers, reconciliations, and day-end/month-end closing
  • Ensure accuracy in accounting entries and zero pending reconciliations
  • Handle payroll processing, expense booking, and vendor payments
Statutory Compliance & Taxation (Hands-On)
  • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, Income Tax workings
  • Ensure PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliance
  • Coordinate audits and prepare all audit schedules and workings
  • Handle assessments, notices, and follow-ups with consultants
Billing, Receivables & Payables Control
  • Monitor customer billing, collections, and ageing
  • Control vendor payments, advances, and ledger balances
  • Follow up on overdue receivables
  • Avoid credit leakage and payment delays
Banking & Cash Flow Control
  • Handle day-to-day banking activities
  • Manage bank limits, LC/BG documentation, and fund utilization
  • Monitor cash flow and payment scheduling
  • Coordinate with banks for operational requirements
MIS, Reporting & Controls
  • Prepare monthly MIS, cash flow statements, profit statements
  • Ensure correct classification of income and expenses
  • Identify mismatches, wrong accounting, or leakages
  • Maintain discipline in documentation and approvals
Systems & Team Handling
  • Supervise the accounts team
  • Review daily work outputs
  • Enforce processes and documentation controls
  • Improve operational efficiency in accounts workflow
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum

    15 years of operational finance/accounting experience

  • Strong practical knowledge of accounting, compliance, and taxation
  • Must be comfortable with hands-on execution
  • Strong user of ERP and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in handling audits independently
  • Problem-solver who can take ownership of the finance function
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and process driven

  • Qualification Preference:

    B.COM/MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent

    (Non-CA candidates preferred)
