Senior Fashion Merchandiser

As a Fashion Merchandiser at our company, you will be responsible for strategically planning and implementing merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability. You will collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to develop product assortments that meet market demands and quality standards. Additionally, you will be in charge of sourcing merchandise, managing inventory levels, and conducting market analysis to understand consumer behavior and trends. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability - Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to develop product assortments - Identify and select merchandise from suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor relationships - Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock availability - Conduct market research, analyze sales data, and identify trends - Oversee the presentation of merchandise in retail stores - Mentor and guide junior merchandisers - Develop and manage budgets related to merchandise purchasing - Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders - Analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and prepare reports for management Qualifications: - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for creating visual displays - Strong customer service skills - Knowledge of retail math and pricing strategies - Experience in retail sales - Ability to illustrate concepts for product presentations - Familiarity with market trends and consumer behavior - Multilingual abilities are a plus - Knowledge of interior design principles Please note that this is a full-time position with a requirement of a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of total work experience.
