Senior Fabric Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Fabric Manager to lead our fabric department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the fabric team, planning and executing fabric processes, and ensuring supplier performance to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and control the fabric team for smooth day-to-day operations.
• Plan and execute fabric sourcing, development, and approval processes in line with production timelines.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance with focus on quality, on-time delivery, and compliance.
• Ensure effective follow-up with suppliers to meet organizational commitments.
• Develop strategies for fabric cost optimization and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with merchandising, production, and quality teams to align fabric requirements with buyer needs.
• Prepare and present periodic reports on fabric status, supplier evaluation, and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Textile Technology or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in fabric sourcing, development, and management within the garment/textile industry.
• Strong knowledge of woven, knit, and specialty fabrics with clear understanding of textile processes.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
