Senior Executive - Sales & Marketing

Role & responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Execution:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet assigned revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and create actionable plans for growth.

2. Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring consistent follow-ups to meet their needs.
• Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.

3. Marketing Activities:

• Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and social media content.

4. Market Analysis and Reporting:

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities.
• Prepare detailed sales reports and presentations for senior management.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Coordinate with the Logistics and Operations teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Work closely with the Finance team to manage pricing, invoicing, and payment collection.

6. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, and trade compliance norms.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience in B2B sales and marketing, preferably in the chemical, polymer, or trading industry.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and marketing tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Prior experience in export sales or commodity trading will be an added advantage.
