Role & responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet assigned revenue and profitability targets. Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and create actionable plans for growth. 2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring consistent follow-ups to meet their needs. Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction. 3. Marketing Activities: Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility. Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and social media content. 4. Market Analysis and Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities. Prepare detailed sales reports and presentations for senior management. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the Logistics and Operations teams to ensure smooth order execution. Work closely with the Finance team to manage pricing, invoicing, and payment collection. 6. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, and trade compliance norms. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts. Preferred candidate profile Proven experience in B2B sales and marketing, preferably in the chemical, polymer, or trading industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and marketing tools. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 3-6 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Prior experience in export sales or commodity trading will be an added advantage.
