Senior Executive -Quality

Key Responsibilities:

1. Raw Material Quality Inspection:

• Inspect incoming materials (solid wood, plywood, MDF, particleboard, laminates, veneers, adhesives, upholstery materials, fasteners, etc.) for conformance to specifications.
• Use tools like

  moisture meters

  calipers

  thickness gauges

  to verify dimensional and material quality.
• Maintain

  Material Inspection Reports (MIR)

  and approve/reject materials with traceability.

2. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC):

• Conduct

  stage-wise inspections

  (cutting, CNC routing, edge-banding, lamination, carcass assembly, sanding, polishing, upholstery, etc.).
• Verify dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments (tape, scale, try square, vernier caliper).
• Monitor

  edge finishing

  ,

  surface flatness

  ,

  joint strength

  ,

  adhesive application

  , and

  assembly tolerances

  .
• Conduct

  in-process defect analysis

  and ensure

  first-pass yield (FPY)

  is within defined limits.

3. Final Product Inspection (FQC):

• Perform final inspection on completed furniture items (wardrobes, beds, chairs, modular units, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with design drawings, BOM, client specifications,

  ergonomic dimensions

  , surface finish (PU, melamine, lacquer), hardware installation, and packaging standards.
• Conduct

4. Process & Quality Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain

  QC Checklists

  Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

  Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

• Maintain calibration logs of inspection tools and ensure tool accuracy.
• Contribute to internal audits and external certifications (ISO 9001, FSC, etc.).

5. Process Improvement & Root Cause Analysis:

• Identify quality defects and conduct
