Job Description

About the Role:

As a Senior Executive/Executive - Personnel, the candidate will be responsible for fostering harmonious industrial relations and ensuring full compliance with all statutory labour laws applicable to the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Salary Administration

    Oversee the timely receipt of duty rosters, ensure compliance with minimum wage regulations, and maintain accuracy in salary processing for approximately 1,000 employees across staff and security divisions. Manage attendance records, employee master data creation, and updates in the Ramco HRMS system.

  • Wage Structure Management

    Handle salary rate revisions and calculate arrears as required.

  • Statutory Compliance

    Ensure timely submission of statutory returns related to PF, ESI, Bonus, and manage registration and renewal of licenses under CLRA, Shops & Establishments Act, Trade License, PSARA, etc. Administer insurance coverage including EDLI, Workmen Compensation, and Mediclaim for billed staff. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all compliance activities.

  • Government Liaison & Inspections

    Coordinate and manage inspections by labour, ESI, and PF authorities at both branch offices and client locations.

  • Client Compliance & Relationship Management

    Conduct compliance audits, address client escalations, and ensure adherence to client-specific statutory requirements.

  • Employee Grievance Handling

    Organize help desks, resolve workforce grievances, and conduct HR sessions at client sites to address employee concerns.

  • Industrial Relations

    Represent the organization in labour office proceedings and court cases related to industrial disputes.

Key competencies:

  • A graduate with proven experience in statutory compliance and liaison activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaison with government authorities and civic agencies.
  • In-depth understanding of industry practices, labour laws, and statutory compliance frameworks.

Professional Knowledge, Interpersonal & Communication Skills:

  • Operational expertise in HR and compliance-related processes.
  • Familiarity with service standards and regulatory specifications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of organizational workflows and structures.
  • Clear, precise, and effective communication across all levels.
