Job Summary
The Employee - Liner Sales will be responsible for overseeing and executing liner shipping
sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets. This role requires expertise in
customer acquisition, market expansion, trade lane management, and contract
negotiations. The candidate will work closely with exporters, importers, and freight
forwarders to drive business growth and ensure competitive positioning in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive containerized shipping business.
- Identify and acquire new clients, including exporters, importers, and logistics
partners.
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships to maximize business
opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, trade lanes, and competitor activities to enhance sales
strategies.
- Work closely with pricing teams to ensure competitive freight rates and service
offerings.
- Develop new trade lanes and optimize vessel slot utilization.
- Engage with key clients, freight forwarders, and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer queries and provide value-added solutions.
- Strengthen Parekh Groups reputation as a reliable and customer-focused shipping
partner.
- Negotiate and finalize freight rates, service contracts, and agreements.
- Monitor cost structures and profitability of trade lanes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline pricing models and contract terms.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales executives and junior sales professionals.
- Conduct training sessions on liner sales strategies, negotiation tactics, and market
trends.
- Monitor performance metrics, sales targets, and team KPIs to ensure efficiency.
