Senior Executive - Logistics

As the Operations Manager at Samsonite, you will play a crucial role in improving warehouse operations and efficiency within the assigned Zone Depot. Your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with PAN India sales channels such as CSD, B2B, and ECOM - Participating as a core member in full stock physical counts of inventory - Ensuring statutory compliance and implementation of safety guidelines in various warehouse locations under your assigned Zone - Monitoring and improvising Logistics Key Result Areas (KRAs) You will also be responsible for troubleshooting warehouse issues, such as problems with the ERP system, with the help of MIS, IT team, and different cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will resolve customer queries related to Money Receipt and Ledger details from the system. Continuous training on Logistics & AR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), change in business processes, and implementing Kaizen initiatives to improve on gaps highlighted in internal audits will be part of your role in training CFA/3PL staff. Furthermore, you will drive various logistics infrastructure projects for the zone, such as changing warehouse locations and optimizing the supply distribution network for faster order fulfilments. **Qualifications Required:** - University Graduate preferably from an Engineering background **Experience Requirements:** - 7-8 years of experience in Logistics, preferably with 3PL experience - Experience of working in a similar capacity - Strong planning & organizing skills - Team player **Computer Skills:** - Proficient in MS Office, ERP, WMS, TMS At Samsonite, our employees are valued, and we strive to provide meaningful rewards and development opportunities, recognizing performance, and fostering a supportive working environment.
