Senior Executive - IT Support

Key Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure Support
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, network devices, and printers.
• Monitor and manage LAN/WAN connectivity, VPN, and firewalls.
• Ensure cybersecurity best practices and company policies are enforced.
• Perform routine backups and system updates.
• Manufacturing Systems & Compliance
• Support manufacturing and laboratory systems (e.g., LIMS, MES, SCADA, PLCs, BAS, and ERP).
• Ensure IT systems comply with GxP regulations and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Support and maintain validated systems, including documentation of changes and incident handling per SOPs.
• User Support & Training
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for on-site and remote users.
• Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Train employees on IT policies, SOPs, and secure system usage.
• Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and system migrations.
• Collaborate with QA, Validation, and Production teams on IT-related compliance projects.
• Identify and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  

Experience

• 3+ years of IT experience in a manufacturing environment (pharma or biotech preferred).
• Familiarity with GMP, GAMP5, and regulated environments (FDA, EMA).
• Experience supporting validated systems and documentation for audits/inspections.
  

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Hands-on experience with network management and cybersecurity tools.
• Familiarity with SCADA/MES/ERP systems used in pharmaceutical settings.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus.
