Senior Executive

Job Role:

• Will be responsible for reducing risk of accidents and injuries with in work place by avoiding unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Monitoring that all firefighting equipments should be operational condition.
• Monitoring safety inspections in all work areas and reporting hazards.
• Monitoring and availability of PPE’S to all employees as per need.
• Monitoring all engineering contractors’ safety requirements.
• Raise purchase requisitions for all materials required for EHS and follow up with purchase dept.
• Compatibility study of raw material and develop Chemical Management System.
• Ensure Safe storage and handling of chemicals.
• Work closely with all internal departments to conduct mandatory safety Committee meeting on a regular basis.
• Conduct Root cause analysis of all Injuries and incidents. Recommend and implement action plans to prevent reoccurrence of such incident.
• To develop / update the Safety Documents and ensure its effective implementation.
• Review and monitoring of ISO 14001 & 45001 E,OH & S documents compliance.
• Formulate the working plan for creating awareness of Safety and implement strategies to minimize incident / accident at site.
• Eliminate any risk due to safety violations. Asses Safety risks through PHA / PSA and undertake Corrective Action / precautionary measures to minimize potential risks at site.
• Cary out Surveys, Audit and analyze the trends and formulate the actions plans to improve on any issues / concerns good of Safety Department.
• Drive Safety Promotional campaigns and involve all stake holders to develop interest and motivation across all levels.
• Formulate campaign to maintain employee awareness to requisite standards in managing risks and emergency actions.
• Organize and conduct training programs on EHS regulations and policies, Conduct practical demonstrations on the usage of EHS department.
• Liaise with Plant Head and HODs to ensure adherence to statutory safety requirements by all workers and contract labor.
• Observe and follow all safety measures as applicable within the area of operations and in the premises.
• Monitoring and supervision of ETP, STP, MEEE, and maintenance of all type of Wastes as per compliances.
