Senior Estimation Manager

To lead the estimation function for turnkey construction and engineering projects involving HVAC, Cleanroom Systems, Electricals, Utilities, and Process Machinery. The role focuses on standardizing estimation practices, enhancing team capability, ensuring bid accuracy, and supporting profitability through robust cost estimation and risk analysis.

Key Accountabilities:

Estimation Management

• Develop and implement

  standardized procedures

  for cost estimation across diverse engineering disciplines.
• Lead and manage the

  preparation of BOQs, costing, pricing strategies

  , and client proposals.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of

  cost estimates

  in line with project requirements and industry benchmarks.

Team Leadership

• Lead a team of estimators

  , guiding and mentoring them to deliver high-quality, timely cost estimates.
• Conduct

  regular training

  , knowledge-sharing sessions, and performance reviews to enhance team capabilities.

Cost Control & Monitoring

• Track actual project costs versus estimates to identify

  variances

• Recommend

Review and Approval

• Review all estimates prior to submission, ensuring alignment with

  client expectations

Technology & Tools Integration

• Research and implement

  advanced estimation software/tools

Risk Assessment & Mitigation

• Identify

  technical, commercial, and operational risks

  in project estimates.
• Propose and implement

  risk mitigation strategies

  during the estimation phase to safeguard margins and execution feasibility.

Required Experience:

• Minimum

  10 years of experience

  in cost estimation for engineering and construction projects.
• Proven success in estimating

  HVAC, Cleanroom, Electricals, Utilities, and Process Machinery

  projects.
• Prior experience in leading estimation teams and managing multiple tenders simultaneously.
  
• Sound knowledge of

  contracting norms, industry codes

  , and commercial terms in infrastructure projects.
