Job Title: Director Semiconductor Fabrication Facility Design (HVAC, Process Utilities, Cleanrooms) Position Overview: The Director Semiconductor Fabrication Facility Design will lead the strategic planning, detailed design, and technical execution of advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities, with a specialized focus on HVAC systems, process utilities (ultrapure water, specialty gases, chemicals), and cleanroom environments . This role is responsible for ensuring the infrastructure supports high-volume, high-yield semiconductor production and complies with rigorous industry and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities: Facility Design Leadership Lead design strategy and implementation for semiconductor fabs, focusing on Class 11000 cleanrooms , HVAC systems , and process utility delivery (water, gases, chemicals, exhaust). Translate manufacturing and process equipment requirements into scalable, efficient facility design plans. Ensure integration of cleanroom architecture with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Process Utilities & Environmental Systems Oversee design and commissioning of: HVAC & filtration systems (temperature, humidity, particulate control) Ultrapure water (UPW) , wastewater treatment , and reclaim systems Bulk and specialty gas delivery (N, H, Ar, CDA, silane, ammonia, etc.) Chemical distribution , acid waste neutralization , and exhaust scrubbers Coordinate closely with process engineering teams to align facility design with tool sets and production flows. Project Execution & Oversight Lead cross-functional teams of internal engineers and external consultants (A&E firms, EPC contractors). Manage capital project planning, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and design reviews. Conduct value engineering and risk assessments across mechanical and cleanroom systems. Ensure compliance with SEMI standards (e.g., S2, S8), ISO 14644, local building codes, and EH&S regulations. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred) 18+ years of experience in semiconductor fab design or construction , with deep exposure to HVAC and utility systems Proven leadership on large-scale greenfield or brownfield semiconductor or pharmaceutical cleanroom projects Strong familiarity with design software and modeling tools (AutoCAD, Revit, CFD, BIM, etc.) Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of: Cleanroom airflow and contamination control Critical utilities: UPW, CDA, process cooling water (PCW), vacuum, gases Exhaust and abatement systems Hazardous chemical and gas handling infrastructure Strong understanding of cross-discipline dependencies (process tools, automation, EH&S) Preferred Qualifications: PMP certification or equivalent project management experience Experience with global fab standards (Intel, TSMC, Samsung, GlobalFoundries, etc.) Familiarity with LEED or sustainable facility certifications

To follow up with customers for orders against inquiries and inquiries against probable leads. 9. To coordinate with customers to get all technical data to ensure that the estimation team can prepare the offers as per the customers requirements. 10. To get the estimate from the estimation team and prepare offers in coordination with the in-house sales team with due approval from the reporting manager for customer submission. 11. To engage the customer in technical discussions on the offer to ensure that the scope is clear to avoid any type of misunderstanding in the future. 12. To be responsible for negotiating with the customer for offers submitted and taking them to the endpoint of orders and payment terms finalisation. 13. To ensure that the advance and other payments are received from the customers as per the terms and conditions of the contract. 14. To keep in touch with the customer after order placement for follow-up and review of services from Lotus Technicals Pvt. To lead the estimation function for turnkey construction and engineering projects involving HVAC, Cleanroom Systems, Electricals, Utilities, and Process Machinery. The role focuses on standardizing estimation practices, enhancing team capability, ensuring bid accuracy, and supporting profitability through robust cost estimation and risk analysis. Key Accountabilities: 1. Estimation Management Develop and implement standardized procedures for cost estimation across diverse engineering disciplines. Lead and manage the preparation of BOQs, costing, pricing strategies , and client proposals. Ensure accuracy and completeness of cost estimates in line with project requirements and industry benchmarks. 2. Team Leadership Lead a team of estimators , guiding and mentoring them to deliver high-quality, timely cost estimates. Conduct regular training , knowledge-sharing sessions, and performance reviews to enhance team capabilities. 3. Cost Control & Monitoring Track actual project costs versus estimates to identify variances and areas for improvement. Recommend cost optimization strategies and implement corrective actions as needed during execution. 4. Review and Approval Review all estimates prior to submission, ensuring alignment with client expectations , internal margins, and quality benchmarks. Approve final bid submissions and provide justifications to senior leadership and business development teams. 5. Technology & Tools Integration Research and implement advanced estimation software/tools to improve process efficiency. Ensure team is trained and proficient in using digital estimation platforms. 6. Risk Assessment & Mitigation Identify technical, commercial, and operational risks in project estimates. Propose and implement risk mitigation strategies during the estimation phase to safeguard margins and execution feasibility. Required Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in cost estimation for engineering and construction projects. Proven success in estimating HVAC, Cleanroom, Electricals, Utilities, and Process Machinery projects. Prior experience in leading estimation teams and managing multiple tenders simultaneously. Sound knowledge of contracting norms, industry codes , and commercial terms in infrastructure projects.
