Project Analysis Analyze project specifications and requirements provided by the sales team 2. Cost Estimation Prepare detailed pricing proposals and cost breakdowns for sales presentations and client submissions. 3. Collaboration Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and tailor cost estimates accordingly. 4. Industry Knowledge Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing benchmarks, and cost factors. 5. Client Negotiations Provide support during negotiations with clients, offering insights into cost implications and alternatives. 6. To lead the estimation function for turnkey construction and engineering projects involving HVAC, Cleanroom Systems, Electricals, Utilities, and Process Machinery. The role focuses on standardizing estimation practices, enhancing team capability, ensuring bid accuracy, and supporting profitability through robust cost estimation and risk analysis. Key Accountabilities: 1. Estimation Management Develop and implement standardized procedures for cost estimation across diverse engineering disciplines. Lead and manage the preparation of BOQs, costing, pricing strategies , and client proposals. Ensure accuracy and completeness of cost estimates in line with project requirements and industry benchmarks. 2. Team Leadership Lead a team of estimators , guiding and mentoring them to deliver high-quality, timely cost estimates. Conduct regular training , knowledge-sharing sessions, and performance reviews to enhance team capabilities. 3. Cost Control & Monitoring Track actual project costs versus estimates to identify variances and areas for improvement. Required Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in cost estimation for engineering and construction projects. Proven success in estimating HVAC, Cleanroom, Electricals, Utilities, and Process Machinery projects. Prior experience in leading estimation teams and managing multiple tenders simultaneously. Sound knowledge of contracting norms, industry codes , and commercial terms in infrastructure projects. Board Support: Assist the Board of Directors in adhering to corporate governance policies, preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, and board papers.
