Senior Engineering Manager

As a Senior Engineering Manager in the Information Technology department, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to develop a product and service evolution roadmap. You will lead a team of engineers in the application development process, identifying and resolving any issues that may impede progress. Your role will also involve creating and maintaining a robust framework to support full-stack microservice-based applications. You will be accountable for project execution, ensuring the adoption of Agile methodologies and maintaining the quality of deliverables through appropriate testing methodologies. Conducting code reviews to ensure alignment with standards and guidelines will be part of your routine tasks. In addition, you will oversee the production rollout of applications using blue-green and canary deployment practices as necessary, ensuring strict adherence to CICD pipeline quality gates. Providing production support for the applications will also be one of your key responsibilities. It is essential to have a good understanding of SOA architecture and proficiency in web service standards such as WSSE, as well as technologies like XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, and REST. Familiarity with relational databases and experience with framework-based J2EE solutions will be advantageous. Your secondary responsibilities will include demonstrating excellent project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills. You should have experience managing applications developed on Java/Golang, Spring boot/Spring integration, REST APIs, Enterprise Architecture, XML, JSON, XSLT, Oracle, and MongoDB. Additionally, understanding one or more modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries like Vue.js, React, or Angular will be beneficial. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a Tier I/II Institute. A postgraduate degree in any relevant field would be an added advantage.,
