Senior Engineer-Sales

In this role at OMRON, you will be responsible for driving business generation, partner management, and data analysis in the Industrial Automation sector. Your key responsibilities will include: - Business Generation: - Achieving sales and order booking targets in the assigned region - Preparing and implementing business plans on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis - Creating and executing account plans for all customers and updating them quarterly - Developing new customers in the region through solution sales approach - Planning and forecasting sales on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for assigned customers - Increasing in-house business shares in existing customers - Conducting Tech days/Seminars at key customers - Partner Management/ Stakeholder Management: - Managing CP (Channel Partner), System integrators, SOP (Solution partners), distributors in consultation with Channel Management Department - Controlling direct customer/CP credit term and credit limit for the region in consultation with the CMD - Developing and maintaining good relationships with Customers and Channel Partners - Data Management and Analysis: - Maintaining and analyzing region and industry-specific data as per business needs - Preparing various MIS reports, presentations, etc. as required - Ensuring eCRM hygiene and logging data in GSFA (SFDC) and regularly updating the same Qualifications Required: - B.E or Equivalent Diploma - MBA (in any stream) preferred - 5-8 years of experience in the field of Industrial Automation - Basic knowledge of PLC, Servo, HMI, Sensors, Components - Knowledge of Robotics, Safety, Vision (Added Advantage) - Experience dealing with OEM's, EU's, Channel Partners, Direct Customers, System Integrators - Strong presentation and negotiation skills - Willingness to travel 20-30%, with 60%+ travel within the assigned region This job description has been designed to provide a general overview of the essential duties and responsibilities expected from the job holders within this classification.
