Job Description

In this role at OMRON, you will be part of the Industrial Automation team focused on creating social value by improving manufacturing processes that support a sustainable society. Your primary responsibility will be to generate business, achieve sales targets, and enhance customer relationships in the assigned region. Your key responsibilities will include: - Achieving sales and order booking targets in the assigned region - Developing and implementing monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans - Creating and executing account plans for customers and updating them quarterly - Acquiring new customers in the region through solution sales approach - Planning and forecasting sales on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis - Increasing in-house business shares in existing customers - Conducting Tech days/Seminars at key customers In addition to business generation, you will also be involved in partner management and stakeholder management, where you will: - Manage Channel Partners, System Integrators, Solution Partners, and distributors - Control credit terms and credit limits for direct customers/CP in consultation with the Channel Management Department - Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and channel partners Furthermore, you will be responsible for data management and analysis by: - Maintaining and analyzing region and industry-specific data as per business needs - Preparing various MIS reports, presentations, etc. as required - Ensuring eCRM hygiene and logging data into GSFA(SFDC) and regularly updating the same Qualifications required for this role include: - B.E OR Equivalent Diploma - MBA (in any stream) is preferred - 5 - 8 years of experience in the field of Industrial Automation - Basic knowledge of PLC, Servo, HMI, Sensors, and Components - Knowledge of Robotics, Safety, and Vision (Added Advantage) - Experience dealing with OEM's and EU's - Experience working with Channel Partners, Direct Customers, System Integrators - Strong presentation and negotiation skills - Willingness to travel 20 - 30%, with 60%+ travel within the assigned region OMRON's mission is to improve lives and contribute to a better society.
