Senior Engineer Purchase

Role

You Are Responsible For

• Maintaining approved supplier list
• Obtaining Quotations
• Placement of Purchase Orders
• Monitoring for Supplies
• Maintaining Supplier Rating.
• Negotiation and finalization of purchase order along with SCM respective functional Heads.
• Obtaining necessary approvals and release of PO
• Co-ordination with QA for verification of purchased product.
• Obtaining corrective and preventive actions from suppliers in case of NC.
• Awareness of EOHS
  

• Leading procurement initiatives and managing supplier evaluations to maintain quality and efficiency in purchasing.
• Developing and implementing strategies for cost reduction and performance improvement of supply chain processes.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align purchasing strategies with production schedules and company objectives.
  

• A strong background in engineering, with relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with procurement software to streamline purchasing activities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
