Sr. Engineer / Engineer in Process Engineering & Production

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize 

  manufacturing processes

   for heavy fabrication and welding.
• Plan and implement 

  welding process standards

  , including process qualification and validation.
• Conduct 

  welding testing

   (destructive and non-destructive) and ensure process compliance.
• Monitor and resolve 

  welding defects

  , applying root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support shopfloor teams in 

  process improvements, fixture utilization, and cycle time reduction

  .
• Prepare and update 

  process documentation, SOPs, and quality records

   in line with standards.
• Collaborate with NPD, Quality, and Production teams to ensure manufacturability of new parts.
• Drive continuous improvement for 

  safety, productivity, and cost optimization

  .
• Provide technical support during 

  customer audits and production reviews

  .

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.Tech in 

  Mechanical Engineering

  .

• 4–6 years of experience

   in process engineering, welding, or heavy fabrication.
• In-depth knowledge of 

  welding processes (MIG, TIG, spot, arc)

   and testing methods.
• Practical understanding of 

  welding defects and corrective measures

  .
• Strong knowledge of 

  heavy fabrication part manufacturing processes

  .
• Hands-on experience with 

  production engineering improvements

   and 

  process validation

  .
• Familiarity with 

  APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and customer-specific standards

  .
• Good communication skills, with the ability to coordinate between teams and present technical findings.
