Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Engineer - Moulding with TPM at Magna Electro Castings Limited, located in Coimbatore South. Responsibilities include implementing and managing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, ensuring optimum productivity of moulding equipment and processes, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues, supporting the design and enhancement of moulding processes, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in production.

Qualifications

Proficiency in moulding equipment and process management, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation and development
Knowledge of manufacturing best practices such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S principles
Strong understanding of CAD/CAM, IoT integration, and simulation tools in manufacturing
Ability to analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
Experience with CNC machining is an advantage
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
