Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Engineer - Moulding with TPM at Magna Electro Castings Limited, located in Coimbatore South. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the moulding process, ensuring the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Day-to-day tasks will include monitoring production activities, troubleshooting moulding issues, optimizing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. Additionally, the Senior Engineer will be involved in training and mentoring junior engineers and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in moulding techniques and processes
• Proficiency in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Continuous Improvement
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the casting and machining industry is highly desirable
