Job Description

Productivity & Efficiency:

Streamline workflow to enhance productivity and ensure 100% compliance of plan vs. actual production.
Guide and motivate the team to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and productivity.
Maximize the utilization of manpower and machinery while fostering a teamwork environment.

Process & Compliance:

Maintain strict discipline on the shop floor.
Follow
IATF procedures
and documentation.

Analysis & Improvement:

Lead mould shop improvement initiatives.
Conduct
loss analysis
and develop corresponding action plans.
Perform
rejection analysis
and create reduction plans.
Monitor daily rejection rates and the effectiveness of corrective action plans.

Problem Solving:

Conduct
root cause analysis
for rejections and machine/tool downtime.
Implement corrective actions based on process audits from the Quality Department.
Use a
QC story approach
for problem-solving.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Education:
CIPET Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
.
Experience:
Adequate knowledge of the
plastics injection molding process
.

Competencies: Knowledge and Skills:

Plastics Processing:
Strong knowledge of plastics material processing with injection molding machines.
Troubleshooting:
Ability to troubleshoot and adjust molding parameters to maintain quality and maximum product output.
Calibration:
Calibrate process equipment in accordance with IATF requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Proven ability in
OEE improvement
.
Identify areas for
cost savings
and implement projects to achieve them.
Improve productivity through methods like
SMED
and
cycle time reduction
.
Process Control:
Standardize process parameters to produce a defect-free product.
Software:
Experience working with
SAP
.
