Senior Engineer I System Instrumentation

As a Project Engineer at Emerson, your role involves managing techno-commercial projects and proposals specifically for Rosemount Tank Gauging instrumentation. Key responsibilities include: - Providing support to Emerson Sales Offices for efficient Project Execution in the Rosemount Tank Gauging business - Preparing post-order documentation, such as customer PO screening, project documentation preparation, resolving customer comments, and timely submission - Submitting project documentation to customers/EPC/End-user/Purchaser and obtaining manufacturing approval - Attending internal project execution meetings to understand customer requirements - Preparing buyouts specifications and coordinating with the SCM Team for quotes/POs - Ensuring project schedule preparation and adherence - Preparing and submitting As-Build documentation - Maintaining key project metrics log - Developing Techno-commercial proposals for enquiries/RFQ's related to Rosemount Tank Gauging Systems - Providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Rosemount Tank gauging products - Selecting suitable instruments based on RFQ and detailing specifications - Designing instrumentation solutions/systems based on applications - Preparing specifications for Buyouts and obtaining quotes from the SCM Team - Maintaining key metrics log for proposals Qualifications required for this role: - 1-4 years of experience in core instrumentation within Process Industry, EPC Companies, or OEM companies - Clear understanding of basic working principles of different Level instruments, Pressure and Temperature instruments, and familiarity with Tank Gauging Systems - Familiarity with installation and calibration of instruments, Instrument Data Sheets, P&ID, Specifications, International Standards, Hazardous Areas, Flammable Areas, Ingress Protection Codes, SIL Ratings, Wiring, and Looping - Proficiency in MS Office applications like Word, Excel, and Power Point, and familiarity with CAD and MS Projects - Knowledge of documentation related to post-order activities Preferred Qualifications: - BE / B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from a reputed institute; candidates with Post-Graduation (ME, M Tech) in Instrumentation Engineering may also apply Emerson, as a global leader in automation technology and software, prioritizes a workplace culture that values every employee, fosters innovation, collaboration, and diverse perspectives.
