As a Project Engineer at Emerson, you will be responsible for managing techno-commercial projects and proposals for Rosemount Tank Gauging instrumentation. Your role will involve providing support to Emerson Sales Offices for efficient project execution, preparing post-order documentation, and submitting project documentation to customers and other stakeholders. You will also attend internal project execution meetings, prepare buyouts specifications, and ensure timely project schedule adherence. In addition, you will develop techno-commercial proposals for enquiries related to Rosemount Tank Gauging Systems, provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, select suitable instruments based on requirements, and design instrumentation solutions based on applications. Furthermore, you will need to have experience in core instrumentation with process industries, EPC companies, or OEM companies, a clear understanding of different level instruments, pressure and temperature instruments, and familiarity with installation and calibration of instruments. Proficiency in handling MS Office applications like Word, Excel, and Power Point is necessary, and knowledge of CAD and MS Projects will be an added advantage. To excel in this role, you should be able to action new challenges without unnecessary planning, understand your strengths and weaknesses, show personal commitment to continuous improvement, and communicate effectively in various settings. A Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering is required, while candidates with a Post-Graduation in Instrumentation Engineering will be preferred.
