.As a Senior Engineer, you will contribute to building and maintaining scalable, high-quality healthcare applications that directly impact patient care and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and modern front-end interfaces using Angular 8+ and .NET technologies. The role offers an opportunity to lead by example, mentor junior developers, and drive engineering best practices in an Agile, fast-paced environment. You will work on innovative solutions while continuously improving your technical skills and ensuring applications meet performance, usability, and security standards.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain healthcare applications using Angular 8+, C#, .NET Framework 4.5+, .NET Core 3+, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3, RESTful APIs, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
- Implement new or upgraded system components based on functional requirements
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and uphold engineering standards across projects
- Develop and maintain automated unit tests to ensure software reliability
- Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior developers on best practices
- Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment, communicating technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to the evolution and optimization of existing applications and services, ensuring scalability, usability, and security
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5-7 years of experience developing and delivering software solutions
- Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and C#/.NET Framework 4.5+/.NET Core 3+
- Hands-on experience with Angular 8+, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and front-end development
- Experience designing and developing Web services, REST APIs, and WCF services
- Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, NUnit) and maintaining SQL scripts and stored procedures
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and software quality gates
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Bonus Skills:
- Understanding of healthcare technologies and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
