Senior Engineer (Civil)

Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Department: Construction / Projects
Location: Savarkundla, Amreli
Reporting To: Project Manager / Director

Job Purpose:

To oversee, coordinate, and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects from planning to execution, ensuring quality, safety, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery as per the contract specifications and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution:
• Plan, schedule, and supervise civil construction activities.
• Ensure project execution as per drawings, specifications, and approved timelines.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
• Site Management:
• Manage and monitor site activities, labor, and resources effectively.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Solve technical/site issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Implement and maintain quality control measures on site.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, codes, and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of materials and workmanship.
• Cost & Resource Management:
• Monitor project budgets and control costs without compromising quality.
• Prepare material requirements, ensure timely procurement, and avoid wastage.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain proper site records including progress reports, measurements, and approvals.
• Prepare and submit periodic project progress reports to management/client.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
• Conduct meetings with the project team for progress review and problem-solving.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E./M.Tech may preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5–10 years in building/infrastructure construction projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural design, and material specifications.
• Other Skills:
• Leadership & decision-making ability.
• Excellent communication & coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
