Senior Engineer/ Assistant Manager- Quality & HSE, Inspection Services

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 17020 (Inspection Body), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) systems requirements, as well as Corporate Responsibility initiatives and guidelines, including the requirements of manuals and associated documents and facilitating the requirement of external Quality System audits at the PC / Region, as detailed below.
• Plan and prepare Internal audits for Inspection Services at the PC in coordination with the QHSE Head (Inspection).
• Work with the EHS Core Team members within the respective PC (for Inspection and System Certification) to ensure ongoing implementation and compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Report the performance of the Quality System in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17020 to the QHSE Head (Inspection).
• Report the performance of the HSE Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 to the QHSE Head (Inspection).
• Ensure that the requirements and improvements of the Quality System, as described in the manual, audits, and associated documents, are maintained and fully implemented.
• Steward compliance with HSE requirements within the organization and at work sites.
• Document all customer complaints at the PC level, forwarding them to the QHSE Head (Inspection Services), and ensuring a proper, timely response with root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Ensure the effectiveness of monitoring (on-site & off-site) and mentoring. Analyze the trends of complaints, monitoring and mentoring observations, new skill requirements, develop effective mentoring and monitoring methodologies and schedules to be prepared and implemented.
• Ensure the effectiveness of the QA Action Plan, which includes training, monitoring, mentoring, quizzes, and surprise monitoring to be conducted.
• Provide guidance to mentors for effective monitoring and mentoring based on the lessons learned.
• Prepare and circulate lessons learned from complaints, monitoring, mentoring, value-added NCRs and audits.
• Monitor training as per the calendar, induction training of new joiners, quizzes at the PC level, and ensure their effectiveness in coordination with the QHSE Head (Inspection Services), including the preparation of training modules.
• Monitor competence evaluation and upgradation of personnel at the PC level.
• Perform any other QA activities assigned by the QHSE Head Inspection Services
• Suggest improvements and revise TUV India Work Instructions and Procedures.
• Review and Enhance of QAP / ITP.
• Collect and analyze the data required for the monthly QA review and process measure for further improvements.

Attributes

• In-depth experience in inspection, technical welding, NDT, and Fabrication.
• Familiar with working of Third-Party inspection agency
• Sound knowledge of ISO 17020, ISO 9001, QA / QC processes, and the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Certified internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
