Urgently required below positions for Shutdown/ Turnaround Project at Mumbai Mechanical Engineer: Tenure: 2-3 months Location: HPCL Mumbai Scope: To carry out On-stream Inspection of pipelines as per applicable pipeline standards of various above mentioned units, review of NDT reports, visual inspection as per checklist and prepare final report. Possess a minimum of 2 years experience of in-service Inspection/shutdown inspection/ fabrication inspection of Static Equipment in Petroleum Refining / Fertilizer /Petrochemical / Pressure vessel fabrication industries. (Static Equipment means pipe lines, columns, pressure vessels, Flare Stacks, heaters, boilers, heat exchangers, Furnace, safety valves and other non-moving equipment used in the industries as mentioned above). Team Member having following capabilities will be preferred:- a) Knowledge in selection, usage and interpretation of NDT like DPI, MPI, UT, UFDT, Radiography, Leak Tests, etc. b) Ability to interpret and apply ASME, ASTM, API, IS, API, TEMA and other relevant codes & standards. c) Ability to study/review equipment drawing, facilities and job scope thoroughly and prepare inspection reports. d) Experience in carrying out both internal and external visual inspection, specify and review NDT, document the observations. e) Proficient in preparing comprehensive Inspection reports in English on the inspection findings and recommendations. All above. inspection to be carried out as per applicable Codes & Standards like API, ASME, TEMA, ASTM, NACE etc.
