Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive Senior Engineer or Assistant Manager – EHS to oversee and ensure the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental practices at our utility-scale solar & wind power construction sites. This role involves implementing EHS plans, monitoring site activities, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture among all site personnel.

Key Responsibilities to be delivered:

• Implement and monitor site-specific EHS plans and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Legal, statutory regulations and company EHS standards.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and EHS inductions for workers.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, and electrical works.
• Maintain all EHS documentation, permits, and statutory records.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Organize safety awareness programs and emergency mock drills.
• Support environmental initiatives including waste management and pollution control.
• ESG reporting and data collection and monitoring at sites.

Qualifications required:

• Diploma / B. E / B. Tech in Engineering with a recognized university.
• ADIS / PDIS / NEBOSH qualification certified.
• Experience required from 3 years to 10 years in EHS for solar / Wind construction projects.
• ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Internal / External certification is an added advantage.
• Internal / External and client audits to be handled and compliance.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of EHS laws, standards, and best practices.
• Good communication skills for engaging contractors and workers.
• Hands-on approach to site safety monitoring and incident management.
• Ability to work in remote project locations.
• Ability to manage independently one or more sites and clients.
• Willing to travel as per job requirement for audit / client visit.
