What you will do

Job Summary:
Lead the development of electromobility systems and components across the complete product lifecycle, secure fulfillment of requirements related to quality, durability, cost and feature performance (QDCF). Drive system and component development in close collaboration with purchasing and suppliers to ensure performance and installation into products.

Job Content:

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead electromobility system development to meet customer requirements including reliability, durability and cost target.
  • Develop technical specifications of Electromobility components
  • Drive components layout, installation design, and system integration in products
  • Collaborate with purchasing for new component development
  • Develop and review drawings and 3D models for components and system installations
  • Advise and support other teams in product improvement and new product development
  • Manage product quality and reliability improvement projects
  • Support our verification and validation activities in the evaluation of design concepts and solutions

Who are you?

Required knowledge & experience:

  • Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
    • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
    • Experience in product development, preferably electromobility applications
    • Broad interest in technology and emerging solutions within electrification
    • Proven ability to analyze complex design and development challenges and drive robust, fact-based solutions
  • Additional Important Requirements:
    • Proficient in English both written and spoken
    • Strong communication skills
  • Meritorious:
    • Experience with energy storage systems (e.g. batteries, BMS)
    • Experience with motor drive systems and power electronics
    • Experience with charging systems and related interfaces
