Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Location : Kochi, Kerala (On-site)

Denada Systems is an innovative embedded solutions startup specializing in hardware design and firmware development. We work at the intersection of electronics, connectivity, and intelligence.

We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer who can take ownership of projects and lead the complete product development lifecycle, from concept and architecture to deployment and optimization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys solving deep technical challenges, and wants to play a key role in shaping the direction of our products.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end embedded product development : architecture, implementation, testing, and optimization.
• Develop firmware and system software for platforms such as

  FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux, or Yocto-based systems

  .
• Integrate hardware peripherals and communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet).
• Collaborate with hardware and product design teams to ensure cohesive system performance.
• Review code, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to system validation, debugging, and production readiness.

Qualification

• 3+ years

  of experience in embedded software or firmware development.
• Proven track record in

  complete product lifecycle,

  from concept to manufacturing or deployment.
• Strong proficiency in

  C/C++

  and familiarity with

  Python or shell scripting

  for automation and testing.
• Experience with

  RTOS or Linux-based embedded systems

  , cross-compilation, and build systems (CMake, Yocto, etc.).
• Sound understanding of hardware–software co-design, circuit debugging, and system optimization.
• Proficiency with

  Git

  and collaborative development tools.
• Strong sense of

  ownership and initiative

  in driving projects independently.
• Based in or willing to

  relocate to Kochi, Kerala
