Senior Editor

As a Senior Editor at Oxford University Press in Noida, UP, you will have the opportunity to shape high-quality Science content aligned with NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Frameworks for educational products. You will work on both print and digital products, lead content development projects, and mentor other editors. This role will expose you to curriculum design, pedagogy, and digital content creation, making it an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about education and technology. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and edit Science content for K8, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and educational standards - Create product plans for digital and blended courses, conduct market research, and incorporate feedback from schools - Manage the complete content development cycle from manuscript to final print and digital delivery - Review and validate edits to ensure quality and consistency - Develop lesson plans, question banks, and digital content such as animations, games, and interactivities - Contribute to assessment frameworks, review audio scripts, and ensure timely delivery of projects - Mentor editors, collaborate with internal teams, and work with freelancers and vendors to achieve project goals Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate degree with 5-7 years of experience - MSc. with experience in K8 EdTech or publishing industry preferred - Strong understanding of curriculum design and pedagogy - Familiarity with digital content development and editing processes - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work in dynamic environments with an agile mindset Desirable Qualifications: - Teaching or teacher training experience - Experience in managing teams and mentoring editors In case of any queries related to this role, please contact shariq.anwar@oup.com.
