Senior Dispatch Supervisor

Role summary

As a Senior Dispatch Supervisor You need to manage and own day-to-day dispatch operations ensure correct picking, packing, loading and on-time, damage-free deliveries to sites. Coordinate across warehouse, production, installation and transport to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily dispatch schedules based on project priorities, BOQs and delivery windows; allocate vehicles and loading slots.
• Verify pick-lists and Delivery Orders against physical inventory; ensure accurate labeling, barcode scanning and packing list inclusion.
• Supervise loading operations and confirm correct loading patterns to avoid transit damage; sign off on vehicle loading checklists/PODs.
• Coordinate with Production and QC to hold shipments that fail quality checks; manage re-dispatch for short/damaged items.
• Manage dispatch team (dispatchers, loaders, helpers): daily task allocation, on-the-job coaching, attendance and shift supervision.
• Liaise with transport vendors, track consignments, and escalate deviations to Operations/Project teams until site acknowledgement (POD).
• Maintain dispatch documentation and daily/weekly reports (dispatch register, transit damages, shortages, on-time metrics).

Skills & experience

• 2–5 years in warehouse/dispatch/logistics supervision (manufacturing, furniture, or last-mile preferred).
• Familiarity with BOQ, packing lists, DO/POD processes; comfortable with barcode scanning / basic WMS or ERP.
• Strong coordination & communication skills; good at multi-stakeholder follow-up.
• Basic MS Excel and digital documentation skills; ability to generate simple operational reports.

Qualifications (preferred)

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations or equivalent experience.
• Experience in modular furniture or interior-fitout workflows is an advantage.

Working conditions

• 9:15am - 5:45pm (if required candidate is required to be flexible to work additional hours when required).
• Frequent coordination with on-site installation teams and transporters; occasional field visits for escalations.
