About the Role

This role leads the media activation function for a high-profile global client. The position supports the client’s mission of being a world-class digital marketer through expert use of marketing technology, innovation, and best-in-class campaign deployment. Paid media is an essential lever in the marketing mix for achieving campaign objectives and driving business outcomes.

As an experienced Paid Media Subject Matter Expert, you will support the development and scaling of full-funnel marketing initiatives. The Activation Team partners with Strategy, Planning, and Analytics to deliver on campaign goals and objectives. You will lead a team of 15 practitioners in India, ensuring delivery quality, innovation, and operational excellence.

Additionally, this role plays a strategic part in defining and deploying regional projects that drive growth and innovation across proprietary and paid media technology. The position involves close collaboration with senior clients in India and regional stakeholders, acting as a thought leader in the media activation space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the media activation discipline in India with accountability for work quality, campaign performance, and operational excellence.
  • Provide practice expertise, nurture specialists, and ensure performance delivery through effective optimizations.
  • Work closely with regional leadership to drive innovation around automation, AI, and marketing technology.
  • Capture and share market learnings, collaborating extensively with strategy, planning, and data teams.
  • Set activation work quality standards and establish the team vision for the year.
  • Ensure adherence to platform best practices, financial accuracy, and data governance standards.
  • Collaborate with Operations to identify and implement solutions that drive efficiency and resource optimization.
  • Manage risks and opportunities for the client by working with internal stakeholders and client teams to address challenges.
  • Create a culture of accountability and motivation, leading by example and mentoring team members.
  • Analyze and present campaign performance data and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder relationship management and team leadership capabilities.
  • Manage profitability and scope of work alignment for the activation function.
