Senior DevOps Engineer - Python Programming

Role Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a global team supporting a top-tier multinational corporation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building, scaling, and maintaining highly available systems, with deep expertise in containerization, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation. This role requires an immediate joiner who can contribute from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
• Lead vulnerability management, K8s upgrades, CRD/operator administration, and infrastructure hardening.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, GitLab/GitHub.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes using Golang, Python, and Bash.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as PCI, SOC2.
• Collaborate with global teams, employing strong documentation practices (design docs, runbooks, READMEs).
• Implement and advocate for best practices in test-driven development, integration testing, and code coverage.
• Contribute to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices for improved system resilience and performance.
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with a proven track record in large-scale, distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in :
• Kubernetes & Docker (large-scale microservices deployment, CRDs, operators, upgrades).
• CI/CD tools Jenkins, Git, GitLab/GitHub.
• Programming/Scripting Golang, Python (coding & scripting), Bash.
• Public Cloud AWS architecture & services.
• Experience in infrastructure vulnerability management and remediation.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC2 preferred).
• Immediate joining availability.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration within a global team.
  

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Strong background in DevOps automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with test-driven development, unit/integration testing, and code coverage tools.
  

Education & Experience

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in large-scale system software development and DevOps practices.
