Senior Design Manager

ob Summary:

The Interior Design Manager will lead the design team in creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing interior spaces. The role involves managing all aspects of design development — from concept to completion — ensuring alignment with client requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the interior design team for multiple residential, commercial, and corporate projects.
• Develop creative design concepts, layouts, and presentations for client approvals.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, project managers, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve design drawings, BOQs, material selections, and shop drawings.
• Ensure design quality, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and resolve design-related issues.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Stay updated on current design trends, materials, and technologies.
• Mentor junior designers and support skill development within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in interior design, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Lumion, and other design tools.
• Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, and ergonomics.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in turnkey interior projects or design-build environments.
• Knowledge of estimation and BOQ preparation.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and on-site execution coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
