Senior Design Engineer (Project Manager)

Senior Design Engineer – Project Manager shall be responsible for end-to-end
coordination of engineering activities from the client office, ensuring timelydelivery, technical alignment, and effective communication between the client,design teams, EPC contractors, and discipline leads for renewable and powerprojectsProject Coordination & Management: ✓ Act as single point of coordination for engineering activities at the clientoffice.✓ Coordinate between, Client Engineering & Project team and InternalDesign teams across multiple disciplines.✓ Monitor engineering schedules and deliverables against projectmilestones.✓ Track action items, risks, and dependencies and report status tostakeholders.✓ Organize engineering coordination meetings.✓ Prepare meetings agendas, MOMs and action trackersTechnical Compliance: ✓ Perform high-level review of engineering deliverables for completenessand consistency.✓ Identify design interface gaps, misalignments, and schedule risks.✓ Escalate technical issues to Chief Engineer / discipline leads.Collaboration and Support:✓ Prepare and present Engineering Progress Reports, Design Review Statusupdates, including Risk and issue registers.✓ Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other teammembers to resolve design issues and implement solutions.✓ Provide technical information and ideas to support the engineeringteamSchedule & Deliverables Management: ✓ Develop and Maintain Engineering deliverables tracking,✓ Design review and approval schedules✓ Ensure timely circulation of drawings and documents. ✓ Monitor turnaround times for reviews and approvals.Requirements✓ Strong technical knowledge and client facing communication skills. ✓ Excellent coordination and stakeholder management.✓ Structured planning and problem-solving approach.✓ Ability to manage multiple interfaces under tight timelines.✓ Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams andstakeholdersJob Location: Office-based in India (with flexibility across major metro cities/Project hubs) Qualification: Masters or Bachelor’s in Engineering,Project Management Certification (PMP) PreferredExperience (Minimum): Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable and power projectsSoftware Knowledge: MS Project/Primavera, MS Office
