Senior Database Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Senior Database & Data Migration Specialist to lead the administration, migration, and optimization of Oracle databases, including deployments on AWS RDS. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle database tuning, data migration strategies, and schema design, as well as strong familiarity with cloud compliance requirements, including those relevant to China data residency. Experience with tools such as AWS DMS, Oracle Data Pump, GoldenGate, and Liquibase is highly desirable. Perform administration and performance tuning of Oracle databases, both on-prem and in AWS RDS. Design and implement AWS RDS Oracle instances, ensuring availability, security, and compliance. Define and execute data migration strategies using tools like AWS DMS and Oracle Data Pump. Design and optimize relational schemas, indexes, and relationships for performance and scalability. Lead and automate data validation post-migration to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensure compliance with data residency requirements, particularly for China-based deployments. Support integration of databases with microservices, including data access optimization and secure connection practices. Utilize tools such as Oracle GoldenGate for real-time replication and Liquibase for version-controlled schema changes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application developers, DevOps, and architects to ensure seamless database integration.
