As a Senior Credit Manager in the Wholesale Banking Risk team, your role involves managing a sizable portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring portfolio health, and minimizing stress accounts or NPAs. You will be responsible for enhancing the breadth and depth of product offerings to maintain a competitive edge in target markets. Your key focus will be on effective account relationship management to optimize customer satisfaction, retention, and wallet share by offering comprehensive banking solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and continuously improve credit risk management strategies, frameworks, and risk tolerance levels for the corporate lending business. - Conduct thorough and independent credit risk assessments of all proposals, focusing on asset quality, pricing, collateral, financials, management quality, and industry outlook. - Provide recommendations on credit ratings and risk-return ratios to the appropriate approval committees. - Engage extensively with business teams to ensure alignment with the bank's risk appetite and identify early warning signs of stress. - Continuously review client rating models, financial performance, and external ratings to ensure portfolio quality and regulatory compliance. - Lead portfolio reviews and assess early warning signal effectiveness to minimize risk. - Ensure timely generation, dissemination, and follow-up of portfolio risk reports and dashboards in line with defined procedures and quality standards. - Oversee the implementation of enterprise risk management policies and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements. - Periodically review bank products and processes, providing risk mitigation controls and training to business teams. Secondary Responsibilities: - Provide inputs to policy and product teams based on industry changes and trends. - Support the formulation and revision of credit policies. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance risk governance and operational efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Graduation: Any Graduate - Post-Graduation: Any Post Graduate Experience: - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in credit risk management, preferably in wholesale or corporate banking. Skills and Attributes: - Strong analytical and decision-making skills. - In-depth understanding of credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and regulatory frameworks. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Proven leadership and team mentoring capabilities. - Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in risk processes. - High level of integrity, compliance orientation, and customer-centric mindset.
