Looking for Sr Counselor - Admissions for a reputed Engineering and Management College In Jind Haryana

Department:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Senior Counselor will lead and execute end-to-end admission activities for B.Tech, BBA, BCA, and Polytechnic programs & coaching students after 12th. This position is critical to achieving the institutes admission targets, strengthening outreach, and ensuring an exceptional counseling experience for prospective students and their parents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Counsel prospective students and their families on courses, specialization options, eligibility criteria, fee structures, and career pathways.
  • Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Organize admission seminars, webinars, school visits, and career counseling sessions to build awareness and drive enrollments.
  • Guide applicants through the complete admission processfrom inquiry to application, documentation, and fee payment.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM/admission software.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for campaigns, promotions, and digital outreach.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports to the management.
  • Assist in organizing entrance tests, counseling sessions, and campus tours.
  • Train and mentor junior counselors and support staff in the admission cell.
  • Ensure compliance with admission policies and uphold the institutes values of transparency and integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate / postgraduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing / HR preferred).
  • Minimum

    3 to 5 years

    of experience in admissions counseling or student recruitment in an educational institution.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering, management, and polytechnic courses.

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and online lead management.
