Breakthrough is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Senior Coordinator – Individual Fundraising (IFR) to support our Resource Mobilisation efforts. This role involves working closely with the Senior Manager – IFR and is pivotal in acquiring, retaining, and nurturing long-term relationships with individual donors.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a small team of face-to-face fundraisers, exploring new markets, and ensuring the team delivers strong results with a positive return on investment. The position will report to Senior Manager – IFR. The specific job responsibilities are as follows:
- Responsible for creating and managing a small 3 to 4-member high performing face to face fundraising team
- Plan and actively participate in fundraising activities across streets, small corporates, commercials and residential areas
- Monitor team performance, set targets, and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings to drive results
- Identify and evaluate potential fundraising locations/territories and develop area-specific strategies for maximum impact
- Plan and execute short road trips to explore new markets and broaden fundraising reach
- Acquiring and retaining individual donors through acquisition donor references
- Ensure that all activities are cost-effective and deliver a positive return on investment (ROI)
Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required
- Graduate with 3–5 years of experience in individual fundraising or sales
- Decent knowledge of MS Office tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Proactive, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative strategies
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
