Senior Contract Frontend Developer (Full-stack)

We’re looking for a highly experienced contract frontend developer with strong expertise in modern frontend ecosystems. You’ll be working with a cross-functional product and design team to build, scale, and deliver production-grade web applications. This is a project-based remote role for developers who thrive on ownership, precision, and efficient execution.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, responsive, and performant frontend applications

• Translate design systems into clean, modular UI components

• Implement pixel-perfect user interfaces directly from Figma or design specs

• Create smooth, engaging UI animations and micro-interactions using motion libraries

• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs with robust state management

• Ensure accessibility, security, and performance standards

• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and project leads

• Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment

• Deliver independently and meet project timelines with accountability

Requirements

• 12+ years of frontend development experience with real-world, deployed products

• Strong hands-on experience in both Angular and React (including RxJS, NgRx, Hooks, Context

API, routing, forms, and performance optimization)

• Solid command of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

• Familiarity with Next.js or Vue.js is a plus

• Styling tools: Tailwind CSS, SASS/SCSS, or CSS-in-JS

• Experience with component libraries (Material, Chakra UI, Radix UI)

• Skilled in translating designs to pixel-perfect interfaces with a strong eye for detail

• Comfortable building motion and UI animations using libraries like Framer Motion, GSAP, or native CSS/JS animation techniques

• Comfortable integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs using Apollo, React Query, or RxJS

• Proficient in unit testing, E2E testing, and using CI/CD pipelines

• Deployment experience with Vercel, Netlify, or AWS

• Strong Git workflow, version control, and code review habits

• Ability to read and implement directly from Figma/design specs

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred

• Experience with monorepos (Nx, Turborepo)

• Familiarity with Docker, serverless architecture, or edge deployments

• Understanding of headless CMS platforms, accessibility best practices, and performance profiling

• Bonus: Background in security, SEO, or building multi-modal/A.I.-integrated UIs
