Must-Have Qualifications Finance Expertise • Educational background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA, B.Com, etc.) OR Industry experience in banks, NBFCs, investment firms, or fintech companies • Sound understanding of financial terminologies, instruments, regulations, and processes • Comfortable working with stakeholders in treasury, risk, investment, accounting, or compliance teams Technical Understanding • Able to collaborate effectively with developers, QA engineers, and product teams • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar • Hands-on experience in preparing: • BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) • FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents) • PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) • User stories and process flows • Basic knowledge of databases, APIs, system architecture, or tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus Key Responsibilities • Work closely with directors, stakeholders, and product owners to gather and analyze business requirements • Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications for engineering teams • Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments • Collaborate with QA teams for UAT planning, test case reviews, and issue triaging • Own and drive end-to-end documentation, communication, and requirement traceability • Identify and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities • Maintain excellent stakeholder communication, especially with finance and tech teams Preferred (Bonus) Skills • Experience working on core banking systems, financial CRMs, or payment gateways • Exposure to fintech, regtech, or digital transformation initiatives • Certifications like CBAP, PMP, or product/business analytics diplomas • Prior experience working with international financial institutions or regulatory bodies Who Will Excel in This Role • Someone who can speak both “finance” and “tech” fluently • A proactive communicator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments • Someone from a banking background looking to expand into tech-enabled solutions • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and managing stakeholders independently
