Job Summary

Senior Content Writer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit high-quality content including articles, blogs, product descriptions, website content, marketing materials, and social media posts.
• Lead the content strategy and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
• Conduct in-depth research on agricultural products, trends, and market insights to generate informative content.
• Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and product teams to understand content requirements.
• Review, proofread, and refine content created by junior writers or team members.
• Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all communication platforms.
• Optimize content for SEO and ensure best practices are followed.
• Create scripts for videos, product explainers, and promotional campaigns when required.
• Plan monthly content calendars and manage content workflow effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in agriculture, content marketing, and digital communication.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional writing or content creation experience.
• Strong command over English with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences.
• Experience with SEO, keyword research, and digital content strategies.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with agricultural topics is an added advantage.
