Platform Cloud Engineer Job DescriptionRole Overview We are seeking a skilled Platform/Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The role involves working across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps practices to enable seamless deployment, monitoring, and optimization of applications and services.
Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Infrastructure Management Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud environments.Platform EngineeringBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).Develop reusable modules and frameworks for application deployment.Collaborate with developers to optimize workloads for cloud-native environments.Security & ComplianceImplement cloud security best practices (IAM, RBAC, encryption, secrets management).Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR).Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud platforms.Monitoring & OperationsSet up observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).Manage logging, alerting, and incident response processes.Optimize cost and resource utilization across cloud environments.CollaborationWork closely with software engineers, DevOps, and product teams.Provide technical guidance and documentation for cloud solutions.Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to best practices.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.3,6 years of experience in cloud engineering or platform engineering roles.Strong expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers).Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions.Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
