Working days- 5 Days per week

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to supervise and manage development tasks for a client-facing project on Python, Django or NextJs, AI/ML technical skills.

The role involves working closely with the Project Lead and other senior stakeholders to define, assign, and oversee tasks, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery. This position requires strong project oversight, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to guide a distributed development team efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Project Lead to understand project requirements and define tasks clearly.

Break down project deliverables into actionable tasks and assign them on Jira.

Supervise task execution, ensuring quality standards are met before marking tasks complete.

Resolve developer blockers, provide solutions locally, and escalate issues when necessary.

Act as a consultant, guiding the team rather than directly coding, while ensuring efficient task completion.

Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to confirm task clarity, progress, and alignment.

Ensure tasks are completed on time, identifying and mitigating delays proactively.

Support onboarding of new team members and integrate them into existing workflows.

Promote accountability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices and client standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in project management or senior consultancy roles for software development teams.

Hands on experience in Python, ML Algorithms, Django or NextJs skills.

Strong knowledge of Jira or similar task management tools.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to supervise, mentor, and guide a development team.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle blockers independently.

Familiarity with development workflows and software delivery processes.
