Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:
- Oversee end-to-end policy servicing, issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate onboarding of group clients and retail customers.
- Manage operational SLAs and TATs across channels.
Process Optimization & Automation:
- Identify gaps and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate with technology teams to automate workflows and reduce manual interventions.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and internal audit requirements.
- Maintain robust documentation and audit trails for all operational activities.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Liaise with Sales, Underwriting, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Act as a point of contact for escalations and resolution of operational issues.
MIS & Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular dashboards and reports to senior management.
- Monitor key performance indicators and suggest corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
5-10 years of experience in Life Insurance Operations in HO
Strong knowledge of life insurance products, policy administration systems, and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS tools, and workflow management systems.

Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
