Senior Compliance Specialist

As an Associate Director Legal Compliance at our company, your role will involve leading transformation initiatives in sanctions, AML, financial crime risk, third-party risk management, and regulatory compliance. You must have proven expertise in building compliance frameworks, driving digital transformation, and managing global stakeholder expectations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Enhancing global compliance training programs and identifying additional training areas aligned with business requirements. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure training relevance and effectiveness. - Providing expert guidance on sanctions regulations across jurisdictions, monitoring regulatory developments, and supporting business units with practical insights on sanctions-related risks. - Drafting, reviewing, and updating policies, SOPs, and frameworks to align with evolving regulations. Collaborating cross-functionally to embed compliance into operational processes and ensuring effective implementation and communication of compliance policies. - Leading initiatives on digital transformation in compliance, AML screening, financial crime risk, gap assessments, and third-party risk management. Driving process re-engineering, automation, and change management to strengthen compliance effectiveness. Delivering high-quality reports and presentations to senior leadership. Preferred Profile: - 14-15 years of progressive experience in legal compliance, risk, or regulatory advisory. - Background in consulting firms, multinational corporates, or regulatory advisory roles. - Experience in policy development, compliance training, and sanctions/AML advisory. - Strong leadership experience with proven ability to manage teams. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. - Graduates from reputable institutions preferred (law background not mandatory).
